- Promote youth leadership, responsibility, and community involvement.
- Encourage young people to participate in mosque activities and decision-making.
2. Strengthen Islamic Identity
- Organize Islamic education programs tailored for youth (halaqas, Qur’an study circles, lectures).

- Plan social and recreational events, such as:
- Sports tournaments (soccer, basketball, etc.)

- Field trips and service projects
- Ensure a healthy balance between fun and faith.
4. Mentorship and Support

- Offer support programs for new Muslims, at-risk youth, or those facing challenges.
- Create a welcoming and judgment-free environment.
5. Encourage Leadership and Volunteering
- Train youth to lead events, organize programs, and serve on mosque committees.

- Promote civic engagement and service to the wider community.
6. Promote Inclusivity and Diversity

- Varying levels of religious knowledge or practice
7. Coordinate with Other Committees
- Work with the Da’wah, Social, and Education Committees to align efforts and avoid overlapping programs.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Committee to promote youth events and share content created by youth.
8. Planning and Evaluation
- Develop a youth event calendar and set clear goals.
- Gather feedback from youth participants to improve future programming.
- Track attendance and engagement trends.
Summary:
The Mosque Youth Committee is essential for building the next generation of confident, practicing Muslims. It connects faith with real-life experiences, helping youth stay grounded in Islam while feeling heard, supported, and valued within their community. A strong Youth Committee can be the difference between a young person drifting away from the masjid—or becoming its future leader.
